Delivery

We aim to process your order within 1-2 working days. However, since we produce limited editions and keep stock levels low, some products are made-to-order and take 1-3 weeks before being shipped. If the product is made-to-order the production time is written on the product that you order. If you have a specific request of delivery date, let us know at customercare@anekdotboutique.com and we will do our best to meet your wishes.

Anekdot ships orders worldwide. We are not responsible for any custom tax from your country. Delivery cost will be charged in addition and will be displayed in the ‘Total Cost’.

Orders within Germany are sent with DHL GoGreen (Track and Signed). All International orders are sent with Deutsche Post International Track and Signed or UPS. Please note that we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

Note: Shipment cost to most non-EU countries is currently much higher than usual due to COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine. We are changing back to a lower rate as soon as possible.

Gift Cards

Our gift cards are delivered digitally and valid 1 year after purchase.
Online credit cannot be refunded/exchanged for a cash refund at any point.

Returns

We hope you will love everything that you order from us but if something isn’t quite right, you have 14 days to return to receive a refund or exchange.

How to return (Germany):
Log in to our returns portal with your order number (found on your order confirmation) and email address, and let us know what you want to return/exchange and why. You can return more than one order or parcel at once, as long as you include all relevant return notes in the parcel.

How to return (Other countries): 
Please contact us on customercare@anekdotboutique.com. Quote on the subject “I wish to return/exchange my item” and include your name, order number and name of item.

Please note:

1. Items must be unworn and in their original condition with all garment tags still attached. 

2. For hygienic reasons panties and swimwear bottoms will arrive with a hygiene liner (compostable sticker) and a sealing thread. Please keep your underwear on while trying on the garment and only remove the liner once you decided to keep it. If you ordered more items than you intend to keep and if you don’t need to try all of the items before returning, please then also keep the sealing thread, so we know that the item has not been tried on and don’t need to exchange the hygiene sticker when we receive your return. Thongs can not be returned if they are tried on, they are not refundable if the sealing thread is removed.

3. Articles which have been washed, damaged or which are showing traces of being worn or make-up can not be exchanged or returned.

4. The right to return and receive a refund/exchange is excluded for goods that are custom made, unless otherwise stated.

5. All items bought on Sale can only be exchanged for another item or online/store credit within 14 days but not refunded. 

6. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. We strongly recommend that you send by a tracked method that insures you for the value of goods. Make sure to retain the proof of postage, we are not liable for any items that have not been delivered to us.

7. We do not refund postage costs, unless otherwise stated. We are a small independent brand and our items are only available in limited quantities. We simply don’t have margins as the big brands, and we ask for your understanding that we can not cover the costs of regular returns. Delivery charges are only refundable where goods are faulty and a refund is made.
